As suggested at the Jan. 22 meeting, if the owners insist on such a major expansion, perhaps they should find property elsewhere, big enough to allow an attractive approach, entrance, parking, tennis courts, swimming pool, etc.
To attempt the expansion at the present location will threaten not only the charm, and even existence, of the inn itself but will also permanently destroy the character of the town.
