The County of Fauquier government is seeking a highly motivated professional to assume the responsibilities of this newly created position. The successful candidate must have demonstrated leadership and management skills, and thorough knowledge in the development, administration and enforcement of zoning, subdivision and appurtenant regulations. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. This is an outstanding opportunity for a creative team player who desires to work in a very progressive, managed growth oriented, rural/urban fringe county. A Master’s degree with a minimum of six (6) years progressive management experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Salary range is $43,011 to $64,518 per year with excellent fringe benefits.
