Dancing at Blackwater Greek
Folk, Contra and Square Dancing will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The next dance will be Thursday, Feb. 8. A nominal fee of $12 per person for the series of 12 danceswill be charged, to cover expenses for records and equipment, payable at the next dance. No specific background in dancing is required; intruction will be provided for each of the dances. Quakers meet at CCLC
The informal Quaker Meeting that has assembled at the Middle Street Gallery for several years will meet, beginning Sunday, Feb. 4 at The Child Care and Learning Center, off Rt. 211 between Washington and Sperryville. This change will afford parents with small children, who would like to attend, an opportunity to do so and at the same time bring their children to a program that will be developed for them. The movie Peter Pan will be playing at the Gay Street Theater on Saturday, Jan, 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. This wonderful Walt Disney antidote to growing up is back... with Peter Pan, the boy who wouldn’t grow up, as well as Wendy, John and Michael Darting, Tinker Bell and the ominous Captain Hook. Zen meditation iniDelaplane
