“gifts” from anyone. It was one of the most difficult conversations I’ve ever had. Not because I cannot communicate with my daughter, but because of the anger. Anger that the conversation should be about the alphabet, or what songs she’s learned, or the new friends she’s made.
If I, someone frequently reminded of bad issues, am shocked and angered by the way our society is changing here in Rappahannock, what about others more “isolated” do they know to be telling their five • and six year-olds to say “NO,” and why? I just want to strongly encourage all parents with school age children, any age, to talk in detail to them about good touch-bad touch, and the existence of drugs and alcohol. Only through awareness can we create avoidance.
