Rappahannock’s agricultural
advisory committee recommended to the planning commission last week that the county’s first agricultural and forestral district be approved. The application filed by C. E. “Ned” Johnson covers 150 acres of land in the Sperryville area. Johnson has requested that the ag district be approved for eight years.
David Brooke Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Newbill Miller of Washington, has been named to the Dean’s List of academic honors at Virginia Tech during the fall quarter. Miller, a sophomore majoring in animal science, earned a 3.4 average or better in the university’s 4.0 grading system.
