the year for the Town of Warrenton. He was honored recently at their annual banquet in December. Larry has been with the town for over six years and currently holds the position of meter superintendent. In addition to $1,000, he received a plaque of recognition.
On Thursday, January 11, Mrs. Anna Fincham and Mrs. Elva Compton enjoyed a visit from Barbara Ellen Mountjoy from Warrenton, Eleanor Hudson of Culpeper and Mrs. Thelma Button and Lottie Dearing of Rixeyville.
We miss several freinds in the community who recently died. Our thoughts are with the families of Mrs. Mabel Estes, Mr. Robert White Jr., Mr. Joe Brown and Shirley Taylor.
I traveled to Richlands over the weekend to attend the funeral of my aunt Ruby Keen Shortridge on Sunday.
