'Foreigner' dumped
in remote Georgia
“I sometimes wonder what it must be like to have a personality, to arouse laughter, respect. . .What must it be like?” This is the state of mind introverted Englishman Charlie Baker, ‘The Foreigner,” finds himself in when he is unceremoniously dumped in a Georgia mountain resort cabin. ‘The Foreigner” will be performed in Culpeper this weekend.
Tickets for the comedy, “The Foreigner,” are now on sale. The performances will be held at the Culpeper Junior High School Forum on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 15-17, at 8 p.m. Friday, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and a 2 p.m. matinee and a 7 p.m. performance on Sunday.
Tickets are $10 for non-members and $8 for Windmore members with the exception of the Sunday matinee, which is $7 for non-members and $5 for members.
There is a “meet the actors” reception at the Culpeper Culinarie on Davis Street in downtown Culpeper after the Saturday evening performance for those interested in the unique opportunity to mingle with the cast.
The meet-the-cast price of $25 for non-members and $20 for members ticket includes the show, food, and drink and is an option to the standard $8/$10 Saturday night ticket, which does not include the reception.
