• A Bethesda man was charged with failure to drive to the right of the road after a twocar accident on Route 626, fourtenths of a mile south of Route 627, at 10:40 a.m. Nov. 10, according to Sgt. D.S. Adams of the State Police.

Jin Yong Cai, 32, of Bethesda, was operating a 1990 Honda when he drove over the crest of a hill into the path of a 1974 Ford pickup headed the opposite direction, said Sgt. Adams.

The pickup was operated by 48-year-old William Tamplin Wayland of Sperryville.

Damage to the Honda was about $600, to the Ford about $300.

No one was hurt in the accident.
