The Rappahannock School
Board members voted unanimously late Tuesday night to hire Thomas S. Campbell of Luray as assistant principal of the elementary school. The action came after a long executive session (for personnel, protection of privacy of individuals on matters unrelated to public business and items which may be put out on bids) which did not end until 1:40 a.m. The 32-year-old bachelor taught for a year in elementary school in Greene County before returning to his home county of Luray where he taught for two years.
William M. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Anderson of Amissville, has been promoted in the U.S. Air Force to the rank of airman first class.
