To the Editor: - For the past two years the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company has sponsored a free Haunted House on Halloween night. Last year we had over 130 people go through it and this year we had over 200 people go through it. This is one of our ways of saying thank you to the public for giving us their support throughout the year.
It also gives the children a place to go on Halloween night in a small community as ours. Not to mention it may keep some out of trouble or mischief. A lot of hard work and time goes into preparing for this.
