Workday at the Rec Center
Community members will gather at the Rappahannock Park at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 to put the final touches on the new playground. A potluck lunch at 12:30 p.m. will be provided by Mothering Cooperative members. Contact Peter Kreyling, 987-8131 or Bob Lucking, 937-3110 to sign up for work crews and details.
Spaghetti dinner
A spaghetti dinner will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 beginning at 4 p.m. at the Flint Hill fire hall. The menu will consist of homemade spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, drinks and dessert. Cost will be $6 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. The dinner is sponsored by the Flint Hill United Methodist Church and will benefit the organ fund. The Shorb Brothers will also present their Christmas concert at the dinner.
