David Burke
David M. Burke, 52, of Front Royal, died Tuesday, Nov. 5 in his home.
The funeral was conducted Thursday, Nov. 7 at the TumerRobertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. William Alford. Burial was in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick.
Mr. Burke was born Dec. 15, 1938, in Front Royal, the son of Ervin Wilson Burke of Orange and Martha Anderson Gillespie of Front Royal. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 829 of Front Royal.
Surviving with his parents are a son, David Conway Burke, at home; four daughters, Elizabeth Ann Burke, at home, Joyce Martin and Jane Burke, both of Front Royal and Sherri Burke of Culpeper; four brothers, Glenn Burke, the Rev. James Burke and Edgar Burke, all of Front Royal and Abraham Burke of Washington; five sisters, Corrine Eastham, Peggy Pearson, Mabel Burke, Shelia Henry and Janet Smith, all of Front Royal and a grandchild.
Pallbearers were John Eastham, Fentress Pearson, Jerry Grimm, Denny Smith, Steward Martin, Robert Fletcher and Gerald Sours.
