We are just bursting with
subject matter this week, politics, acoustic music and miscellany. Perhaps it should all come under miscellany.
Rappahannock County now has the opportunity to lead the United States and be first to back Ross Perot for president.
Perot announces that if a grassroots move got him on the ballot in 50 states that he would run. He would finance his own campaign and would not accept any salary.
When asked about his tax policy he said it would be fair. That will scare every special interest in the country except consumers, (that is you, dear reader). This man sent operatives into Iran to get his employees out who were hostages and he succeeded. At the time the Army, Navy and Marine Corps could not do the same. The man is a mover and a shaker and an honest man. Being honest disqualifies him from the main political parties, that is why he has to go on the Independent ticket. As Rappahannock goes, so goes the nation. Get busy all you honest people!
Now for the ftin. We have, right here in our county, a witch and book burner. I am impressed. Every community should have one for the entertainment value, two would be too many for a county our size but one is just great.
Unfortunately people who are inclined to overactive sex fears end up peeping in windows to root out the deviants and sinners for the good of humanity and they endup in jail.
I am sure that he considers Shakespeare rather shady and Michelangelo’s David a perfect example of pornographic NEA grant money. But the cruelest stroke of all was the subtle note by our editor pointing out this person’s position high up in the Republican Party. I will bet that
