Police in Roanoke have arrested James P. “Dickie” Walters, 28, of Huntly, who escaped from the Rappahannock County Jail last May, according to Sheriff John H. Woodward.

Walters, who climbed a jail yard fence and jumped over concertina wire, running to freedom, was awaiting sentencing on a breakingand-entering and grand larceny conviction and had been indicted for suitors
