Fashion show planned
The Rappahannock Woman’s Club will present their annual fashion show at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 22 at the Rappahannock Elementary School. This year’s show “A Blue Ridge Springtime” will benefit the Rappahannock County Park and the Woman’s Club annual scholarship fund. Tickets may be purchased at the door or from any member.
Spaghetti dinner
An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at the Amissville fire hall. Prices are $6 for adults, $2.60 for children under 12 and children five and under are free. Spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and beverage will be served. Proceeds will benefit the Amissville fire department.
Breakfast at Washington
The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a buffet breakfast from 7 a.m.-ll a.m. on Saturday, March 21. The menu will consist of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, \ pancakes, hash browns, baked apples, coffee, juice, hot chocolate, * French toast and cereal. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and ! under. Future buffet breakfast date is Saturday, April 18 which will ; include an Easter Egg hunt. ;
Free trout fishing party
Trout Unlimited’s 12th annual free trout fishing party for children j will be held on opening day of the Virginia season starting at 9 a.m. on ; Saturday, March 21 on the Rose River in Madison County along Route • 670 between Criglersville and Syria.
