DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conducts reviews of monthly sample financial assistance program cases to assess compliance with laws, regulations, and policies in the determination of eligibility and payment levels. Maintains expertise in the guidelines of at least two of three financial assistance programs (Food Stamps, ADC, and Medicaid), and two sets of federal Quality Control procedures. Prioritizes, schedules and performs duties in order to comply with established deadlines; investigates and verifies eligibility factors and client circumstances related therein. Accesses computer files and other information as necessary to complete reviews in an accurate and timely manner.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this position, an applicant must: Travel within region and occasionally to other areas of the state to make home visits and to attend meetings as necessary.
