A male plot hound, 3-4 years old, skinny and very friendly, is the featured dog at the shelter this week. Other dogs available at the Rappahannock Animal Shelter in Amissville this week are a 4-month-old shepherd cross female, tan and black; a 5month-old shepherd cross male, creme and friendly; a 3-4 year old male hound-lab cross, brindle in color; and two female beagles, one and 2-3 years old. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The lost animal registry can be found in the Classified Section of the Rappahannock News.
