The Board of Zoning Apical* approved a variance from aide setback requirements for Tony and Fransi Danagan to add a two-story addition to a house they are renting from Bernard and Gillian Shinkman near Boston.
The Dunagans, acting as agents for the Shinkmans, requested a 10-foot variance from the 50-foot setback requirement to add on two bedrooms. Mrs. Dunagan said they could not add on to the back, because the house was already within 40 feet of that property line. The other side of the house has a stone chimney and the septic tank, and the front has the entrance and two large trees they want to leave alone.
Mrs. Dunagan said she has two children who are using the two existing bedrooms. She said the Shinkmans also have two children and want the addition. She said she and her husband are using a 8-by-14foot study for their bedroom.
