Virginia Power
is recognized
The Piedmont United Way has recognized Virginia Power for its generous contribution of $2,700 worth of printing services to the 1993 campaign.
The Creative Services Department of Virginia Power in Richmond designed the new campaign brochure, and the company printed 15,000 copies for distribution in a five county area. The attractive brochures describe each of the 31 local agencies that benefit from contributions to the Piedmont United Way.
Ken Holmberg, district manager of the Warrenton Office of Virginia Power and Piedmont United Way board member, says there are other ways that companies or individuals can help the United Way through contribution of services.
Citing an example, Mr. Holmberg said, “It could be something as simple as clerical or adminstrative support that may be available three or four hours a week.”
