SEWER AUTHORITY The State Water Control Board (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Board") proposes to take an enforcement action against The Rappahannock Water and Sewer Authority (hereinafter referred to as the“Authority") The enforcement action to be taken is a consent special order (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Order”) The Authority has agreed to the Order Under the Order, The Authority will improve operation, maintenance, sampling, testing and reporting practices at the
Sperryville sewage treatment plant. In addition, the Authority will investigate potential problems with infiltration and inflow in the plant's collection system, and with flow surges and chlorine residual fluctuations at the plant.
