Lee Bird, left, president of the Literacy Volunteers in Rappahannock County, and Susan Fox, Rappahannock ABE GED teacher, consulted with Dr. Andrew Beale of VCU following a recent workshop on motivation and self-esteem sponsored by Regional Adult Education in Culpeper. Regional Adult Education will host another in-service class Oct. 10 at the Culpeper Holiday Inn for all adult education teachers and literacy volunteers. The meeting, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will cover two topics, process writing with adults and teaching spelling through diagnosis of errors. The program is free and lunch will be provided.
