Evelyn Fincham
Evelyn Shifflett Fincham, 44, of Sperryville, died Monday, Sept. 21 at her home.
She was born Sept. 4, 1948, in Charlottesville, a’ daughter of Ernest Shifflett of Charlottesville and Edith Roach Lam of Stanardsville. Her husband was the late Carl J. Fincham.
Mrs. Fincham was a member of Middle River Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly F. Clark of Nethers; a son, Mark Travis Fincham of Peola Mills; a sister, Lorene Shifflett of Earlysville; a half-sister, Janet Shifflett of Stanardsville; a brother, Ernest Shifflett Jr. of Ruckersville and a half-brother, Charles Conley of Ruckersville.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Eppard.
A funeral service was conducted Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Middle River Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Oral Doval officiating. Interment was in Etlan Cemetery.
Ryan Funeral Home in Quinque was in charge of the arrangements.
