325 children ages 6 to 18 participating in the counties youth baseball program.
We now have 23 teams. Each year we work hard to raise the needed funds, this year due partly to poor economic times, the expenses of more children, which means more uniforms, equipment, fields, field maintenance as well as insurance (which has more than doubled in the last two years) we desperately need your contribution.
There is nothing like the look on a child’s face when they hit the ball or make that all important catch, the sound of parents cheering their child and team on, the coaches with that look of Oh! to be 10 years old again and the smell of hot dogs on a warm spring evening, this is what community is all about.
We thank you for your support and hope you will come out next season and catch the spirit.
