Repeating its great success from last year, Ki Theatre will present “Crossroads: A Festival of Performances” at 8 p.m. on Oct. 10-11. The theme this year, “plays, songs, dance and stories that explore 20th century America,” will be presented by three women, all of whom are nationally known as writers and performers. It promises to be a most entertaining and stimulating evening.
Coordinated by Washington’s owm Julie Portman, artistic director for Ki Theatre, the production will star Ms. Portman acting in two of her own plays entitled “From My Family Album,” on Oct. 10 and Sharon Wyrrick’s dance theater piece, “Where’s the Milk?” and National Public Radio commentator Kate Long’s stories and songs on Oct. 11.
“Crossroads represents something we want to do each year that symbolizes the crossing of artists from inside and outside the community,” explained Ms. Portman. “This year because it . was Columbus Day weekend, the humerous little part of
