It’s interesting when I met the Tiptons who run Cedar Grove on June 17, Mrs. Tipton knew where Amissville was; they had looked into starting a bed and breakfast in Rappahannock before deciding on one in the Northern Neck of Virginia.
Locally, the kids will love Wilson’s Pet Farm, about 45 minutes away, near Winchester. They are open daily through Labor Day. Weekdays are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Very reasonable rates. For more details
