The start-up period for Project TIME is 90 days, beginning June 1, 1993. During this time the course content and curriculum will be developed using actual workplace material to support each of the educational components.
There will be four cycles of classes scheduled to begin September 6, 1993. Each cycle will run for 13 weeks.
Project TIME is targeted to serve 300 total employees with approximately 75 employees per cycle. The anticipated results of this project are increased productivity, improved worker morale, and a better understanding of the goals of the workplace. For the adult worker the results will be possible new employment, continued employment, or career advancement.
The following individuals have been employed the the College to lead the project: Ms. Tamara Fleming, project director; Lee Ann Turner, career counseling specialist; Nancy Lloyd, English instructor; Tod Shockey, mathematics instructor; and Jean Smith, secretary.
