by Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville were shopping at Valley Mall in Harrisonburg on Saturday, motoring on into Charlottesville where they dined at Western Sizzlin.
Sunday evening they viewed the fireworks at Graves Mountain Lodge and Mrs. Atkins remained as an overnight guest of the Fraziers.
Congratulations to Mr. John W. Jenkins, Jr. down Salem way for recently being recognized for 25 years of service with Virginia Department of Transport w here he is a data analyst in the engineering department and is also active with the Salem Fire Department.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Clatterbuck, Jr., Heather, Brian, Patsy and Nathan were guests during the Fourth of July weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Southard of Woodville.
