Mrs. Weinberg read several selections from “Acorn Field” pub-, lished in 1969 which is an oral history about an English village in Suffolk. The selections included information and reminiscences about the Women’s Institute, an organization for women that meets monthly for lectures, civic projects, and outings.
” , Prior to Mrs. Weinberg’s lecture, the Extension Homemakers Club members and guests enjoyed and English meal. Doreen Wootton, Chairperson, selected the following recipes and each person brought a covered dish. The group didn’t have fish and chips, but the recipes proved to be very delicious!
