In short, your vote for change this November 2, under the Republican banner, will return to you the control over your own destiny, by restoring Jeffersonian government to Virginia. Liberty won at Yorktown must not be lost in Richmond.
So celebrate Independence Day again in November. Virginians, we’re better than what’s happening. We’re better because we’re Virginians, because we’re Americans, and because we’re free. Join that popular swell that’s growing daily. Your government is coming home, Virginia.
The more freedom we have-as we teach our young people-the greater the responsibility to guard it and to lead. The burden is heavy. But only by defending our rights and our Constitution may we all enjoy that liberty intended by those who fought for Old Glory and to build “that shining city on the mountain” that is our nation.
