The Farmers Home Administration (FmHA) is attempting to further address • homelessness by offering to public bodies and nonprofit organizations the opportunity to lease or purchase inventory homes to provide transitional housing for the homelsss. The lease term may be for up to 10 years for $1.
The sale price will be 10 percent less than the market value or listed price, whichever is less, for program properties which have been in inventory over 18 months, and for nonprogram properties.
