Bazaar and Yard Sale Set The Pastor’s Aid Club of the Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville will host a bazaar and yard sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Mallory in Amiss ville. Wharton Family Reunion ( The annual family reunion of the late Henry T. Wharton and Lillie M. Cloud Wharton will be held at the Rappahannock Park Sept. 3. “Looking for family members and friends, come, bring a covered dish and join in,” said a family spokesperson.
Volunteers Needed 1 The Rappahannock Education Assistance Program (R.E.A.P.), a volunteer service group, is in need of community members who are willing to extend themselves and commit to assisting the educational process at Rappahannock County High School. Volunteer forms are available in local businesses on Aug. 23. Please sign a form and bring it with you to a short meeting at 8 p.m. on Sept. 1 at RCHS or drop it off at the RCHS office.
Wilson Reunion Set The reunion of the late Thurman and Julia Thome Wilson will be held at the home of the late William Wilson on Route 688 in Orlean on Sept. 11.
