Review
This concert provides a fine introduction to the upcoming concert season at The Theatre by Mr. Berkofsky’s Cristofori Ensemble, which has our home town of Washington as its home base. Four performances of chamber music are scheduled between October and February.
Now that I’ve looked over the pieces they plan to play, I can say I’m familiar with almost all of them, and particularly admire those that I know. They are melodious and accessible on the one hand, and relatively unfamiliar on the other. It should be an interesting and rewarding series.
