Apple-Red Cabbage Salad 1 medium head red cabbage, shredded 2 Red Delicious apples, cored and thinly sliced 1 medium onion, thinly sliced 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup cider vinegar 2 tablespoons sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons celery seed 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1 cup sour cream Toss cabbage, apples and onions. Combine oil, vinegar, spices and sour cream. Pour over salad; toss to coat well. Apple Cider Salad 1 6-ounce package orange flavored gelatin 4 cups apple cider 1 cup raisins 1 cup coarsely chopped apples 1 cup chopped celery' juice and grated rind of 1 lemon lettuce Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups hot apple cider, stir in raisins. Let cool. Add remaining 2 cups cider, chill until consistency of unbeaten egg white. Stir in apples, celery, lemon juice and rind. Pour into lightly oiled 6 cup mold. Chill until set. Un-mold
