Class Reunion Set

The graduating class of 1985 will hold their 10 year reunion on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Lakeside Pavilion in Culpeper. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish and beverage.

Cloverbuds to Study Animals

Bowen Reunion Scheduled

The annual Bow'en family reunion will be held beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Rappahannock Park at Washington. Friends and relatives are invited.

Dodson Reunion Planned

The reunion of the late Ernest and Neva Nicholson Dodson will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. Friends and family are invited and asked to bring a covered dish.

Circus Coming To Amissville

The Amissville Ruritan Club will present the Roberts Brothers Circus at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at the Amissville Fire Department Grounds. Advance tickets will be on sale only until Sept. 19 for the special price of $6 for adults and $4 for children. Advance tickets are available at Early’s Carpet, Hackley’s Store, Viewtown Store or from any Ruritan member.

Music Classes Offered

Music Circle: half hour weekly classes offered for ages 3-7. Handson introduction to folk instruments and music from around the world, basic music theory, singing, musical games and more. Ages 4-7 begin Thursday afternoon Sept. 21, preschool class meets every Saturday morning downstairs at Trinity Episcopal Church. $25 per month, call Lorraine Duisit Espinola at 675-3743 to register.

Bake-A-Thon Planned

There will be a Bike-A-Thon on Oct. 1 (rain dates is Oct. 8) to benefit the St. Judes Children’s Hospital. Money is raised through donations and event such as the Bike-A-Thon which is sponsored by pledges. It will be held on Dearing Road (Route 628) near Flint Hill from 1-4 p.m. hopefully making this a family outing. To pre-register or for more information contact Sarah Brown at 675-3624.

R.C.H.S. Advisory Meeting

The first advisory committee meeting will be held at Rappahannock County High school on Monday, Sept. 18. Any parent of a high school student is invited to attend this meeting with the principal of the high school. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the library. Make this date on your calendar and attend. All meetings will be held on the third Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Craft Fair Scheduled

The Jeffersonton Community Center will be having their annual Fall Craft Fair and Ruritan BBQ lunch on Sept. 30. The lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Craft Fair will be from 9 a m. to 3 p.m. Tables are 'still available for crafters for $10. Please call 937-5890 or 937-4928 for more information.

Fiomeschoolers Meeting

School Night for Scouting Set

Cub Scout Pack 123 will be holding School Night at Rappahannock County Elementary School at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21. The Pack invites all boys in first through fifth grades and their parents to come and learn about the fun and adventure awaiting them in scouting. There will be a short presentation, displays and information and plenty of people to answer questions.

Aerobic Classes Scheduled

New sessions of aerobic classes begins on Sept. 18 at the Washington Community Center at 9 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Call Beth Levick for information, 675-3108.

Dance at Amissville
