The Rappahannock Unit of the American Cancer Society has elected new officers for 1995-96. They are: President Helen Brown. VicePresident — John Hartline, Secretary — Karen Flynn and Treasurer — Henry B. Wood. The American Cancer Society also has a new director for P.D. 9, Jane Johnson, who joined the staff of American Cancer Society in August and who will be working with Rappahannock County this coming year
New board members for 1995-% are Ruth Baumgardner of Washington and Paige Coombs of Castleton.
The Rappahannock Unit of American Cancer Society is please to announce that two teams participated in the Relay for Life event at Airlie in May 1995 and raised a total of $3,453 for the American Cancer Society. Charlotte Freeman of Washington and Ester Settle of Flint hill received prizes for their fund-raising efforts.
