Two men were charged with curse and abuse this past week.
Last Friday, William Harold James, Jr., 32, of Huntly, was issued a warrant for curse and abuse after a complaint was filed by Edward Wince and his mother Vergie Wince, of Route 663 in Huntly.
Daniel Parker Mason, 34, of Sperryville also was issued a warrant, after a complaint was filed by Andrew Cooper of Alexandria. The incident occurred on Route 614 in Sperryville last Sunday.
On September 4, Sherry Gilkey of Route 666 in Chester Gap reported to the Sheriffs Office that someone had been going into her house during the day. The house was locked, but someone had entered through a window. The Sheriffs Office has a suspect in the case.
Ricky Menefee, 22, and Polly Wood, 20, both of Sperryville, were arrested for trespassing last Friday. According to Sheriff John Henry Woodward, Cleveland Menefee, 4 Ricky Menefee’s grandfather, asked
