The Constitution of
Virginia requires that
you be registered in the precinct in which you live in order to be qualified to vote. For the convenience of the citizens of Rappahannock County, the Voter Registration office at Washington, Virginia will be open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. In order to be eligible to vote in the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 7, 1995, you must register no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 1995. Registrar’s Office Election Day is November 7,1995.
The Registrar’s Office will also be open on Saturday, October 28th and on Saturday, November 4th from 900 a.m. to 500 p.m. for the convenience of registered voters who need to vote by absentee ballot for this election. You are encouraged to make application for voter registration at one of the locations or to visit the registration office during its scheduled hours which are shown above.
