Interment followed in the Williams Family Cemetery in Chester Gap.

Mrs. Tharp was born Nov. 15, 1953, in,Warren County, daughter of Albert C. Cameron of Chester Gap and the late Gertrude Wines Cameron.

She was a member of Culpeper Assembly of God. She was a graduate of Rappahannock County High School.

She had previously worked for the Fauquier Democrat.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a son, Jason Russel Tharp.

Surviving in addition to her father are her husband. James Russel Tharp; a son, James Darren Tharp of Castleton; a sister, Brenda Jenkins of Chester Gap and a brother, Gary Cameron of Front Royal.

Pallbearers were Lawrence Horner. Larry Cubbage, Ray Compton, Curtis Wiiliams, Buck Williams and Jeff Williams.

Honorary pallbearers were Glenn Tharp. Tony Tharp, Jerry Williams and Jimmy Williams.
