Theresa Ann Schmitz and Christopher Manion were united in marriage at 3 p.m. on June 3, 1995 at the Sacred Heart Chape! at Notre Dame University in Notre Dame, Indiana.

The Rev. Ronald Tacelli, S.J. officiated the ceremony. Wedding music was performed by Randy Martin. Capella. Decorations were provided by Wygant Florists.

The bride is the daughter of Retired (USMCR) Col. and former Congressman John G. and Mrs. Mary' E. Schmitz of Washington.

The bridegroom is the son of the late Clarence E. and Virginia O’Brien Manion of. South Bend, Indiana. Mr. Manion was a former Dean of Notre Dame Law^ School.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a white silk and lace dress with a chapel length train.
