Holly Gangel was the first Rappahannock girl to finish (third overall) in 24:03. Jessica Ghenn finished fifth overall in 25:13. French exchange student, Myriam Lathuile was sixth in 25:52. Caroline Baumgartner came in seventh in 26:22. Emily Simms (31:22) and Megan Fairbrother (31:42) also finished in the top twenty.
This Saturday, the Cross Country team will travel to Woodbury Forest for the Woodbury invitational. Coach van de Graaff said he is looking forward to showing off his home course and the site of the District Tournament for the first time this season on September 27.
