Drive. Hikers are welcome to the Drive and to the trails. This event may be delayed or canceled if there is dense fog or severe weather.
Parking will be available at the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center, mile 4.6, for approximately 190 cars. Parking will be available at the Elkwallow Wayside* milepost 24, for approximately 150 cars. Both parking areas and will fill on a first-come, firstserved basis. No shuttle service will be available, so please plan ahead. People can walk or bicycle in either direction on the Drive and enjoy as much of the 19-mile section as they want.
