Also, RAA intends to start work on the land they leased from Rappahannock County this year. RAA hopes to expand field use at the leased site to include soccer and football.
They also discussed the major problem with lack of parking area. A joint meeting well be held to address the situation. The club also discussed fund raisers, use of community building, completion of building and schedules and activities of both organizations. The club is optimistic about working together with RAA for the betterment of both organizations and the community.
Ruritan Club vice president Fred Naramore presented budgets and objectives of various committees and overall budget comparing projected income to projected expenses, showing a fragile $500 income over expenses, to put toward completion of the building.
A sign has been ordered for the building to read “Amissville Ruritan Club Community Building,” blue on gold for Ruritan colors.
