He was bom July 5, 1911, in Madison to the late Rev. Warren and Matilda Corbin. Mr. Corbin was a member of Black Oak Regular Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Ruth Elizabeth Corbin and one son, Irvin Corbin of Flint Hill.
He is also survived by one sister, Frances Reid in Culpeper Health Care; four grandchildren, Darryl, Jeffrey, Bradley and Michael and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 27 at Found & Sons Chapel with the Rev. C. Wayne Richards officiating.
Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.
Dorothy Jenkins
Dorothy Lee Jenkins, 70, of Reva died on Jan. 23 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Helen Leake Jenkins.
Born in Rappahannock County, Mrs. Jenkins worked in customer service for many years.
She was a member of the Culpeper Baptist Church and the Women’s Circle.
Mrs. Jenkins spent the ..last years of her life caring for her invalid husband.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Jenkins of Countryside Rest Home I in Pratts; a daughter, Joyce Richards of Madison; and a sister, A. Corrine Jenkins of Lignum. ' Also surviving are two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a niece, Pamela K. Jenkins of Lignum.
Funeral services were held at the Culpeper Baptist Church with the Rev. John Farrar officiating.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lloyce Hoffman, James Dowell, Samuel Brown, David Jenkins, Matthew Hoffman and John Southard.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper, was in charge of the arrangements.
