Minutes later the Tigers were ahead again. Angela served two more points followed by Katie Paratore who made one.
Brentsville got a 13-11 lead, and Rapp called a time out. Angie then spiked the ball and Sherri served an additional point for her team.
Brentsville won 15-12.
In the second game Brentsville pulled ahead 6-0 before Katie and Nancie made the team’s first two points. They were followed by Sarah Gentry who made two more points.
Minutes later Ami Joback spiked the ball and Angie tied the two teams 6-6.
The Tigers got an 8-6 lead. However, Ami tied them after a dink by Sarah.
Katie made another point for Rapp.
The Panthers lost 15-10.
Coach Conklin felt the games that evening were “the best they had played all season.They played as a team and moved their feet.” She also said that “every one worked really hard and I was pleased with everyone’s effort.”
The night before that they played at Page and lost. JV’s scores were 16-14 and 15-3. Varsity had scores of 15-4 and 15-10.
On Saturday the teams traveled to Strasburg and lost again. The scores were 15 to 12 and 15 to 4 for the JV and 15 to 2 and 15 to 4 for the varsity. ,
