In presentations to four classes, Mr. Wisniewski showed how to snap the silhouette of a handsome prince against your head (put velcro on the cardboard head and wear a velcro headband on yours) so that you can portray the prince in your shadow-puppet story.
He showed how to make realisticlooking scenery using nothing more than ripped pages of colored paper. By seemingly simple shifts of cut-out cardboard, colored tissues, and distance from the light source, Mr. Wisniewski made earthquakes strike, beanstalks grow, and night turn slowly into day.
