Last Wednesday night the Lady Panthers Volleyball teams played against the Brentsvilte Tigers. The t^a,rps lost both games and were defeated at Page the previous evening.
During the first JV game Wednesday Brentsville got a 7-0 lead. Janice Wilson then served up a point for Rapp. - After this the ball was returned to Brentsville whioh made four tnore points. ■ .Alice Gentry and Ashley McNeely later each got in a point for Rapp. The Tigers, however, won 15iv.
' During the second game Brehtsville got a 5-0 lead which was tied by Meghan Fairbrother. She continued to serve and brought her team ahead 8-5.
The Tigers got the ball back and ;e^ured a 9-8 lead. Alice then served igain though and got in the 7 points ier team needed for a victory.
In the third game Brentsville nade the first point. This was tied by \sftley. Brentsville then got an 8-1 ead. Rapp made two points after that ind lost 15-3.
Coach Conklin,, who was filling n for the regular JV Coach said that ‘you can see each time they’re leaning.” “The majority are first year ilayers and taking that into considerition are doing very well,” she idded.
