Another four students were given DARE clocks for their Virginia license plate designs: Jeremy Graves (IM4DARE); John , Dodson (DRGAWRE); Joshua Anderson (BANDOPE); and Dawn Andreoni (G04DARE). The winners were chosen by Capt. Brown.
Sheriff Gary Settle congratulated all of the students and told them all how proud he was of them. He said that the DARE program will be expanded in the county to include a DARE booth at the county’s carnivals and during the 4th of July celebration, and DARE Day, which will be held at the elementary school on May 31.
The slide show at the end of the program of candid photos of the students having fun was very popular as always.
