Last Friday at 3:10 p.m., Marilyn S. Armor, 56, of Sperryville, was charged by Trooper Mike Woodard with reckless driving when her 1990 Jeep Waggoneer ran off the right side of the road on Route 231, .1 mile east of Route 618, and struck a fence. She was uninjured, but the Jeep sustained $1,000 damage.
According to Major Rick MacWelch, a juvenile petition will be served on a 17 year-old boy from Chester Gap who is being charged with carnal knowledge following an incident with a 13 year-old girl, who. is also from Chester Gap.
