Congratulations to Michael Wharton, a junior at Rappahannock High, upon winning a medal and a $50 savings bond in the 1996 Science Fair. Ralph Pace from the elementary school also won a medal and a $50 savings bond.
Cathy Smith was thrilled last Saturday, Feb. 24, to see several friends and co-workers with whom she worked at the Defense Nuclear Agency about 15 years ago. They were: Mary Ann Benett, Lela Elliot, Brenda Peed, Edna Anderson and Helen Rucker. They asked about another dear friend, Barbara Gore who also lives here in Amissville. Edna said one of her dear friends, Hallie, was sister to Gilbert Lawrence, also an Amissville resident. Another reunion is set for May
