Surviving are his wife, Frances A. Snarr Hughes; a son, Robert Mark Hughes of Mt. Olive; two daughters, Ruth Ann Hoffman and her husband, George of Fishers Hill and Martha Jayne Hughes and Howard Mark Weingarten of Flint Hill; two sisters and six grandchildren.
Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg was in charge of the services. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
